- American Botanical Council - Click Herb Info, then select Common Herbs for a list of herbs and their uses, or choose Herb Reference Guide for info on daily dose, use, contraindications, side effects, drug interactions. Reliable info from this nonprofit research and education organization.
- National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCAM) - Good source of information on all aspects of alternative treatments, herbal supplements, etc. Part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) site.
- Rosenthal Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine - Offers assistance with integrating alternative therapies into medical treatment. Special pages devoted to pediatric and adult cancers. From Columbia University.

- Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) - Current topics, i.e. anthrax. Updates on vaccinations, flu and other diseases. Contains brochures available for printing.
- CHID Online - The Combined Health Information Database produced by several health-related agencies of the federal government, this searchable database indexes health information and health education materials.
- DocFinder - To locate the credentials of a physician, click on the name of the appropriate state and enter the doctor's name in the search box. If uncertain of the correct or full first name, enter only the last name, then select from results list. If the bottom line of the provider's entry does not say "No Disciplinary Actions on File" and further info is desired, go back to the list of states and select the relevant state medical board homepage.

- Medical Matrix - The National Library of Medicine's Excellent index for health, science and medicine. Directories by categories. biofeedback and herbal medicine.
