- Evaluation Criteria - The Web is a wonderful source of information, but it is often a source of misinformation as well, and nowhere is this more the case than in genealogy sites.. Learn to evaluate the reliability of web sites at this one, provided by the New Mexico State University library.

- How Far Is It? - http://www.indo.com/distance This service uses data from the US Census and a supplementary list of cities around the world to find the latitude and longitude of two places, and then calculates the distance between them (as the crow flies).
